Responsibility of Genfocus Electromechanical Cont. Est :

To establish rules and programs to promote safety and encourage all subcontractors to work safely.
To make sure that all employees are aware about the rules established and any changes to it.
To provide all supervisors with copies of appropriate rules and regulations.
Request all subcontractors, as a matter of contract, to follow the rules safely.
To provide & ensure proper protective equipment, safety materials and clothing to the personnel where required.
To appoint safety officer with full enforcement authority over safety matters and conduct a daily safety inspection in a job site, maintain records of violations and investigate such cases.
Timely revision of the rules and regulations incorporated in the manual, as required.
Monitoring the compliance and effectiveness of this manual.
Follow up on any reports concerning health, safety and accident prevention.
Have an incentive scheme for safety awareness among workers and be completely responsible for on-the-job safety and health.
To instruct foreman about safety requirements and to ensure that the same is cascaded to their crews.
Take advantage of offered safety training (by clients / contractors/ any other sources) and be aware of all safety rules.
Conduct job-site safety meetings and weekly toolbox talks.
Review all accidents, oversee correction of all unsafe practices and file accident reports.

Responsibility of Job Safety Coordinator:-

Work with site Engineer in correcting job-site hazards.
Make periodic safety inspections and correct or initiate corrective procedures for problems discovered.
Follow all other safety requirements in the performance of other assigned duties.

Responsibility of Crew Leaders:-

Carry out safety program at the work level and provide crew with proper instruction on safety requirements.
Be aware of all safety requirements and safe working practices for new and existing employees.
Make sure protective equipments are available and used.
Report all unsafe acts, injuries and safety violations for supervision.
Secure prompt medical attention for any injured employee.
Request help and guidance when unsure how to perform any task safely.
Report for work only with suitable and protective clothing in such a way that any clothes or jewellery worn should not be prone to safety hazard.
Avail of company and industry sponsored safety programs.
Perform work in a safe and alert manner, and be aware of the possibility of unseen danger or situations. Employees are not expected to sacrifice themselves or other’s safety to perform their duties. Ensure their own safety as well as of their co-workers.

Responsibility of Subcontractors and Suppliers of Genfocus Electromechanical Cont. Est.:-

Check in with job-site supervision before entering job-site.
Abide by all the safety rules of Genfocus Electromechanical Cont. Co. , the owner and other contractors.
Notify all other contractors when actions or activities undertaken by them could affect health or safety of employees of other companies.
Report to Genfocus Electromechanical Cont. Co. of any unsafe events or activities noticed by them.
Inform to Genfocus Electromechanical Co. about any workers affected by any work related injuries.

Responsibility of Owners and Visitors.

Abide all safety rules
Refrain from entering construction area without site supervisor’s or site in-charge’s permission.

Responsibility of all Personnel

Abide by the safety rules and regulations of owners on their sites.
Have full commitment in striving to make all operation’s safe.
Keep all work areas clean and free of debris.
Maintain mental and physical health conducive for working safely.
Assess result of their actions on the entire work place.
Replace or repair safety precautions removed or altered before leaving work area. Unsafe conditions will not be left to imperil others.
Report promptly to supervision all accidents and injuries observed whether involving company personnel or others.
Work in strict conformance with U.A.E. regulations.
